NVIDIA GeForce 616.56 is flickering screens — hotfix and rollback

Game Ready Driver 616.56 and nearby builds are causing flicker, colour glitches, and RDP black screens on RTX 20–50 GPUs. Hotfix 616.86 addresses the worst of it.

Install the hotfix from NVIDIA if you are seeing flicker, broken virtual displays, or Remote Desktop black screens. Roll back to a known-good driver if a newer package made the machine worse. Switching the display to 10-bit output can stop flicker on some 8-bit setups.
